ANNEXURE G – Union Street
OFF CAMPUS PERMITS
Union Street
Rules and Regulations
This permit entitles the holder to park in the Union Street car
park. It also entitles the permit holder to
park on-campus between 4.30 pm and 8.30 am Monday to Friday inclusive,
and all day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. On campus parking is
allowable in any plain white-lined parking areas only.
This permit
IS NOT valid in reserved, car pool parking
areas, blue lined areas, disability access parking areas, 15 minute
areas, yellow lined areas or loading bays at
ALL times.
This permit IS NOT transferable.
This permit must be affixed to the vehicle’s windscreen so
details of the permit are readily visible. There is a penalty if
permits are not clearly displayed. Permits are self-adhesive and should
be affixed to the vehicle registered with the Parking Office.
It is not adequate to merely own a permit - the permit must be displayed
when you park within the University and at Union St at all times.
Failure to display this permit while working on The University of Adelaide
grounds, or for parking in an area which is NOT valid, will incur an
infringement notice.
Should a replacement permit be required for reasons such as window damage,
theft or misplaced, a replacement permit will be issued at a cost. Should
any permit registered as damaged or stolen be found on any vehicle within
the North Terrace campus, Police will be contacted and action will be
taken.
Please Note:
- The possession of a permit does not guarantee a parking
area will always be available.
- If employment with The University of Adelaide ceases, permits MUST
be returned to the Parking Office.
- Failure to do so will result in payment of current parking fees
until such time that the permit is returned.
- Those who use the parking facilities offered by The University
of Adelaide do so at their own risk.
- The University of Adelaide reserves the right to adjust the
fees for car parking at any time.
Changes to any permit information is to be made via the form at the
web site at
http://parking.adelaide.edu.au/
This Permit is issued by DCA acting
under behalf of and at the direction of the University Council Delegate
for
Car Parking.
All lost or damaged cards need to be reported to parking@adelaide.edu.au. Once you have provided the information to parking@adelaide.edu.au, Wilson Parking will be in contact with you regarding collection details of your new card. Note that there is a card replacement fee for all lost and damaged cards.
The parker will, if not in possession of a valid access swipe card when entering or leaving the Union Street Car Park, be liable to pay the daily parking tariff charged by Wilson Parking.
