ANNEXURE D – After Hours/Semester 1/Semester 2
ON CAMPUS PERMITS
After Hours Full Year, Semester 1 and Semester 2 Permits
Rules and Regulations
This permit allows you to park on campus before 9.15 am and after 4.30
pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
This permit IS NOT transferable.
This permit must be affixed to the bottom right hand side of the windscreen
(drivers side) so details of the permit are readily visible. However,
if your vehicle is such that the permit cannot be placed there without
obstructing the driver’s vision, the permit may be affixed to the
top centre of the windscreen, in the blind spot caused by the inside
rear-vision mirror. There is a penalty if permits are not positioned
in the correct places. Permits are self-adhesive and should be affixed
to the vehicle registered with the Parking Office.
This permit entitles the holder to park in any plain white lined parking
areas only. This permit IS NOT valid in reserved, car pool parking areas,
blue lined areas, disability access parking areas, 15 minute areas, yellow
lined areas or loading bays at ALL times.
After Hours Full Year
After Hours Permits are valid for the calendar year only and expire on December 31 of the year they are issued.
It is not adequate to merely own a permit - the permit must be displayed
when you park within the University at all times.
Failure to display this permit while working on The University of Adelaide
grounds, or for parking in an area which is NOT valid, will incur an
infringement notice.
Should a replacement permit be required for reasons such as window damage,
theft, or misplaced, a replacement permit will be issued at a cost. Should
any permit registered as damaged or stolen be found on any vehicle within
the North Terrace campus, Police will be contacted and action will be
taken.
Please Note:
- The possession of a permit does not guarantee a parking
area will always be available.
- If employment with The University of Adelaide ceases, permits MUST
be returned to the Parking Office.
- Failure to do so will result in payment of current parking fees
until such time that the permit is returned.
- Those who use the parking facilities offered by The University
of Adelaide do so at their own risk.
- The University of Adelaide reserves the right to adjust the
fees for Car Parking at any time.
Changes to any permit information is to be made via the form at the
web site at
http://parking.adelaide.edu.au/
This Permit is issued by Tenix Solutions Parking Services acting
on behalf of and at the direction of the University Council Delegate
for
Car Parking.
