ANNEXURE A – Yellow/Commercial/Departmental & Short Term

ON CAMPUS PERMITS

Including Yellow, Commercial And Departmental & Short Term Parking Permits

Rules and Regulations

This permit IS NOT transferable.

This permit must be affixed to the bottom right hand side of the windscreen (drivers side) so details of the permit are readily visible. However, if your vehicle is such that the permit cannot be placed there without obstructing the driver’s vision, the permit may be affixed to the top centre of the windscreen, in the blind spot caused by the inside rear-vision mirror. There is a penalty if permits are not positioned in the correct places. Permits are self-adhesive and should be affixed to the vehicle registered with the Parking Office. Yellow permit holders who register two vehicles with the parking office can be issued with a duplicate permit for an additional cost. Only ONE duplicate permit is allowed on Campus at any one time. There is a penalty for infringement of this rule and/or cancellation of the permit.

This permit entitles the holder to park in any plain white lined parking areas only. This permit IS NOT valid in reserved, car pool parking areas, blue lined areas, disability access parking areas, 15 minute areas, yellow lined areas or loading bays at ALL times.

It is not adequate to merely own a permit - the permit must be displayed when you park within the University at all times.
Failure to display this permit while working on The University of Adelaide grounds, or for parking in an area which is NOT valid, will incur an infringement notice.

Should a replacement permit be required for reasons such as window damage, theft, or misplaced, a replacement permit will be issued at a cost. Should any permit registered as damaged or stolen be found on any vehicle within the North Terrace campus, Police will be contacted and action will be taken.

Please Note:

  • The possession of a permit does not guarantee a parking area will always be available.
  • If employment with The University of Adelaide ceases, permits MUST be returned to the Parking Office.
  • Failure to do so will result in payment of current parking fees until such time that the permit is returned.
  • Those who use the parking facilities offered by The University of Adelaide do so at their own risk.
  • The University of Adelaide reserves the right to adjust the fees for Car Parking at any time.

Changes to any permit information is to be made via the form at the web site at

http://parking.adelaide.edu.au/

This Permit is issued by Tenix Solutions Parking Services acting on behalf of and at the direction of the University Council Delegate for Car Parking.
