Car Parking Procedures
6. EVENT PARKING
Event parking arrangements are provided for groups that hire
University facilities through the Events and Facilities
Coordinator’s Office. Please direct enquiries to the Events
and Facilities Coordinator on 8313 5151.
Any other parking enquiries should be directed to the Parking
Office in Campus Services on 8313 6135.
6.1 How to Arrange Parking Permits
Event parking must be arranged well in advance through the
Events and Facilities Coordinator’s Office, phone 8313 5151.
All details should be finalised seven working days prior to
the event to ensure information and permits are received.
Note: During semester/term times, parking on Campus
may not be available depending on the time of event and parking spaces
6.2 Charges / Cost
Two complimentary permits are available upon application and
approval through the Events and Facilities Coordinator’s
Office. Subject to availability and approval a maximum of
three additional permits may be issued at a cost of $20 per
permit per day.
6.3 Who approves Permits?
Campus Services maintains authority for parking approvals and
provides the Events and Facilities Coordinator with
discretionary authority to approve event parking.
6.4 Conditions of Parking
The University of Adelaide advises that whilst any vehicle is parked
on campus pursuant to the University by-laws, neither the University
nor any of its authorised persons are liable for any theft, loss
or damage to any vehicle and/or its contents.
