Car Parking Procedures
The University of Adelaide strives to provide a quality Car Parking
service for all staff, students and visitors, within the constraints
of available
spaces. This service is achieved through the following:
- Regular reviews of available space for car parking.
- Prioritisation and administration
of applications for parking permits.
- Conducting regular patrols to ensure
compliance with University by-laws and private parking legislation.
The University
of Adelaide,
North Terrace Campus, has a limited number of parking spaces available for
staff, students and the general public during specified times. Parking permits
are issued
in order to control the number of parking spaces within the North Terrace campus
and associated off campus parking bays. Waite, Roseworthy and Thebarton campuses
are exempt of such parking restrictions. The Parking Rule document defines
the roles and responsibilities of key University and Contract Personnel relating
to The University of Adelaide parking, and includes permit definitions, costs
and other rules relating to parking.
